ShemLi.org is a free educational and spiritual discovery tool. It matches Hebrew names to Tanach verses using letter-pair logic and presents meanings, gematria, and related context.

Important: ShemLi is not a rabbi, posek, or halachic authority. Content is for inspiration and study — not religious rulings, medical advice, or legal guidance.

Accuracy

We work to keep name data and verse matches accurate and sourced from traditional texts. Corpus coverage grows over time; some names may not yet have a matching pasuk. Gematria calculations use standard mispar hechrachi unless otherwise noted.

Acceptable use

• Use the site for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes.
• Do not scrape or bulk-download in ways that degrade service for others.
• Do not attempt to access restricted API routes or admin areas.
• Respect Torah text and present shared content with appropriate context.
